Pharmacy agreement

This is what a pharmacy accepts when it joins DawaMap. It is published here so you can read it before applying, in Arabic and in English, and the two versions carry equal weight.

# DawaMap — Pharmacy Agreement Version: 2026-08-11 --- This agreement is between **DawaMap** and the pharmacy whose account you are creating. By setting your password and using the portal you accept it on behalf of that pharmacy, and you confirm you are authorised to do so. ## What we provide An account on the DawaMap pharmacy portal, and a listing on the patient app and map. Through it you receive prescription orders from patients near you, answer them with price and availability, chat with the patient, and see your own reports. ## What you are responsible for **You are the pharmacy. We are the introduction.** - **Licensing.** You hold a valid licence to operate a pharmacy and to dispense the medicines you dispense, and you will tell us if that changes. - **Dispensing.** Every professional judgement is yours: whether a prescription is valid, whether to dispense, what to substitute, what to refuse, and what to advise. We never see the medicine. - **Your listing is accurate.** Your name, address, phone, opening hours and services are what a patient decides on. Keep them current — a patient who travels to a closed pharmacy blames both of us. - **Your prices.** You set them and you quote them per order. We take no part in pricing and no commission is included in any quote you give. - **Your staff.** Anyone you give portal access to acts for you. ## Answering orders A patient who sends a prescription is waiting, usually with no other plan. - **Answer within 90 minutes.** We remind you at 15 minutes. At 90 the order is released back to the patient and they are told to try elsewhere. - **Repeatedly leaving orders unanswered is grounds for suspension**, because an unanswered order is worse for the patient than never having seen you listed. - We publish your median response time to you in your reports, and may show patients an indication of how quickly pharmacies in general reply. ## Prescription data Patients send you photographs of prescriptions. These are medical records. - **Use them only to answer that order.** Not for marketing, not for building a patient list, not for anything else. - **Do not download, copy, print or forward them** beyond what dispensing that order requires. - **Only staff who need to see an order may see it.** - We destroy prescription images 90 days after an order closes, and a patient may destroy theirs sooner. Anything you have taken out of the portal is then yours to account for, and your obligations under the law follow it. Between us, in respect of these images, you act as the pharmacy receiving a prescription and we act on your and the patient's behalf in carrying it. Each of us keeps to the data-protection law that applies to it. ## Fees **DawaMap is free for pharmacies during the pilot.** There is no charge today and no card is held. When we introduce a subscription or a per-order fee we will give you **at least 30 days' written notice** of the amount and the start date. If you do not want to continue on those terms, tell us before the start date and your account closes with nothing owed. Continuing to use the portal after the start date is acceptance of the fee. Invoices, when they exist, are issued monthly and payable within 30 days. We will never take money out of a patient's payment to you — patients pay you directly and in full. ## Suspension and closing the account We may suspend your listing, and we record a reason whenever we do. Grounds: - Your licence lapses, or we have reason to doubt it. - Repeated failure to answer orders. - Mishandling prescription data. - Abusive conduct toward patients. - A serious safety concern raised by a patient or an authority. Where the reason is not a safety matter we will contact you first. **You can close your account at any time**, by telling us. Orders already in progress should be completed or declined before you go. ## Reviews Patients who complete an order with you can rate you. We do not remove a review for being unfavourable. We do remove reviews that are abusive, that identify a member of your staff, or that are not about a real order — tell us and we will look. ## What we are responsible for Running the portal with reasonable care, carrying orders to you promptly, and keeping prescription images in private storage. **We do not guarantee any volume of orders.** We do not promise the service is always available. We are not responsible for a patient who does not collect, a patient who does not pay you, or a prescription that turns out to be invalid. Neither of us is liable to the other for lost profits or indirect loss. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit. ## Changes We will update this agreement as the service changes, and ask you to accept it again in the portal. Fee changes always carry the 30 days' notice above, whatever else changes. ## Law This agreement is governed by the law of Palestine, and the courts of Ramallah have jurisdiction. ## Contact **[email protected]** --- *DawaMap · Ramallah, Palestine*
